About Virtual Care  (Telehealth)
Virtual care is particularly valuable for individuals with mobility challenges, chronic conditions, time constraints, or those living in areas with limited access to healthcare.
What is Virtual Care For?
Through telehealth, a General Practitioner can provide medical assessments, manage chronic diseases, review medications, issue prescriptions and referrals, deliver preventive health advice, and coordinate ongoing care.
When clinically appropriate, telehealth complements in-person visits to ensure continuity and convenience.

Virtual Telehealth GP care provides primary healthcare services through secure video or telephone consultations, allowing patients to receive medical care without visiting a clinic.
It is especially beneficial for individuals with mobility challenges, chronic conditions, or limited access to healthcare. Through telehealth, a GP can conduct assessments, manage ongoing conditions, review medications, issue prescriptions and referrals, and provide preventive advice, ensuring continuity of care in a safe, confidential, and patient-centered manner. Following an initial face-to-face home visit, subsequent consultations may be conducted via telehealth, as this service is available only to patients who have previously been seen in person.
